Pasifika Peer Tutoring: This is run by senior students. If you need help with school work, please come to M3 on Tuesdays at lunchtime. If you have any questions, see Ms Lea. 


Runathon Booklets After 5 weeks of going out there and gaining money from sponsors, it’s time to bring your runathon booklets in with money! We look set to break the $1,000,000 raised mark this year and the booklets are a huge part in achieving this goal! It is not too late to go out there and get sponsors! So if you haven’t raised any money then you still have time!! 

The tutor class which raises the most money gets a free hells pizza lunch! 

Thanks for all the effort on the day boys, we did an amazing job, it’s now time to do another important part of runathon - raise as much money as possible for the people of Ibwera, Tanzania.

International Student Peer Tutoring

If you require subject specific tutoring see Mr Wang in the International Centre who will pair you up with a suitable peer tutor.  Tutor sessions run every Wednesday lunchtime in the International Centre or at times that are compatible with your tutor.


An opportunity for youth to have their voices heard with an invitation to the Youth Discussion on the Mental Health and Addiction Inquiry being held on the 25th May 2018 at the Wellington City Council. Pasifika Assembly - May 24th: We will have our first assembly in the Brierly this week. Please be on time so we can start promptly. 


1st XI Football Fundraiser - Solo - A Star Wars StoryHelp the football team out by coming along to our Movie Fundraiser at 6pm this Thursday night! Tickets are $20 each, see Ms Vreeburg or any of the lads in the 1st XI to get your ticket.


Maths Club: is on every Monday at lunch time in M7. On top of usual problem solving, we are going to focus on the helpping Year 9s with their Maths project these four weeks. You are welcome to join us to discover ideas and making your project during the club time. 

Origami Club The origami runs each Thursday lunchtime in M5. Feel free to come along and try it out. There are hundreds of designs to chose from catering from absolute beginners through to origami ninjas.

10BK: You have the honour and the privilege of being the Duty Tutor Group for Weeks 3 and 4 of Term 2.  Report for duty at 12.55pm every lunchtime in the corridor outside Mr Ashby's office.  Your attendance is expected and a roll will be taken.  Do not be late.

International Work and Experience Opportunities with Camp America. Find out all you need to know on Monday 28th May when the Camp America team visit WC at 12.30pm in SR1. 


CV Workshop Tuesday 22nd May SR1 at 12.30pm. This workshop run by the careers team will help you with preparing and updating your CV. We will look at what to include and use Career Central to create your CV. If you would like help with a CV you already have bring it along. 



University of Otago Information Evening is on Thursday 24 May in the Deloitte Lounge, Westpac Stadium from 7:30pm – 9:45pm. For anyone considering Otago in 2019 this is a great opportunity to take your parents along and ask plenty of questions about accommodation and course options. 


University of Canterbury Information Evening Tuesday 29th May 6pm at Westpac Stadium. Take your parents along to find out more about life at UC, programmes on offer in 2019 and accommodation options. 


Inhouse Debating Round 3 : Junior Inhouse round 3 will be lunchtime this Tuesday TODAY), Senior round 3  will be on Thursday . They will both be limited prep debates - the moot will be on the debating notice board, outside L5 and in the Daily Notices 8am on the day of the debate. Make sure you have got your teams sorted and are ready to roll once you have the moot . Come to level 2 of the Tower Block promptly

Young and Hungry Theatre Ambassadors: applications are open to Year 12 and 13 students to become a WC Theatre Ambassador. This is fantastic opportunity to attend lots of theatre shows, with Ambassadors from other schools and with a theatre professional, free of charge. You must be committed to attending the shows (there are approx 13) and reporting back. 1 or 2 Ambassadors will be selected from WC.
