Karori Youth Awards - If you live in Karori and have contributed to the local community in some way then you should put your name forward to be considered for a Karori Youth Award. This could be in the area of Service to the Community, Service to Sport, Service to the Arts, Courage and Bravery, Contribution to Young people. Please see Mr Bergin if you would like to be considered.


Year 12, 13 - Volunteer Opportunity: The Annual Samaritans Street Appeal is on Friday, Week 3, August 11th. Wellington College wants to continue providing their support to this grear cause. We have been asked to supply volunteers for shifts from 9am to 4pm on Friday,11 August. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community and to add to your CV or Duke of Ed service. Juniors water polo (year 9 and 10) – your training will be in Kilbirnie Pool on Tuesday 1/8 at 7.00 am. Be at the pool by 6.50 am.

The Baron's Club: Come along back this Friday to 402, the B.C is back with some new developments to accommodate our membership of 40+ now. It's growing... The topics for talking on this week are: "Is the world getting more nationalistic as opposed to Globalistic and liberal?" "Frogs in Dogs?" "Conspiracy's surrounding 9/11, and how stupid that is." And Finally a discussion around the resignation of Mr. Moses and how to carry on with our lives. Thank you for reading, until Friday Huzzah!"


Film Club: Meeting this Friday (28/7) day 6 in L4!!! We are going to be talking about our new project and other such things we want to do, After a successful first meeting last Tuesday come to the Film Club!

Annual bus trip to the Massey Manawatu Campus. Wednesday the 2nd August; just a few seats still available. Please register online, or visit the Transition office to pick up the permission slip as soon as you can this week. If you require help with course selection for 2018 drop into SR1 at lunchtime on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th July. Mrs Greenstreet and Mrs Sims will be available to provide guidance. 


Melbourne University will be here on Monday 31st July to present study and scholarship options for 2018. Bring your lunch to SR1.
