The last Friday of week 9 (22nd September) is the start of the College’s Scholarship    Examinations. The only senior students required to attend on Friday are those sitting Scholarship Examinations. All other senior students resume normal classes on Monday of week 10.

The 'official' team shirts for football & hockey are in stock at the Uniform Shop. If you bought a 'replacement' shirt earlier in the year, please make sure you bring this shirt to the uniform to swap for an 'official' team shirt. No further cost is required. The deadline for swapping shirts is the end of Term 3.

Scholarship Chemistry, Physics and Biology workshops are happening at Vic Uni in the upcoming October holidays. For example the Chemistry day is on Thurs 5th Oct, with the Bio day on the 3rd and Physics on the 7th. These are excellent, they are presented by experts in their fields and will provide a valuable boost to your chances of success in the schol exams next term. Crêpes! On sale on Friday lunchtime outside LC2.  $2 for sugar+lemon or jam, $3 for nutella or caramel. Mathieu Clatin is fundraising as he has been selected for an international gymnast competition in Texas. Come and support him and eat some great crepes cooked by Cafe Bréton. They will be on sale each week for a few weeks this term and next.

2018 Course Planning for Lincoln University is on Monday 25th September. We strongly encourage you to attend this session if you are planning on going to Lincoln University in 2018. Bring your lunch to SR1 at 12.30pm

Year 9 & 10 students interested in getting babysitting jobs would benefit from doing the 1 day course to gain a Plunket Babysitting Certificate. This course will be run during school time on Friday 17th November. It is hands on and provides an opportunity to become responsible, respectful and competent babysitters. Calling all rock bands. Any student rock bands/jazz combos/small instrumental groups/soloists that would be interested in performing at the 150th Celebrations on October 21st, there will be a meeting Tuesday 26th of September (week 10) in B2 at interval. See you there.

Chorale. Interested in auditioning for the Chorale 2018? Audition material can be found on the Music Departement Website and see Mr Boyle in the music office to sign up for a time. Auditions will be held week 2 and 3 of Term 4. Current members do not need to sign up.
